Fundraiser at St Peters on the Waterfront Church in May 2023

What a glorious concert. Congratulations!  You should all feel delighted. You gave a Church full of people a very happy afternoon. Mel .and I are so happy that we made it despite going to the wrong church first!’                                                                           Former family carer now volunteering with Bury Musical Memories

‘Well done on a wonderful afternoon. I especially enjoyed ‘Thrift from Spells songs. I have the Lost Words book and CD but had never heard the songs live. That’s a great amount of people and money!’                                                                                                      HeartSong Family Carer who was volunteering with her mother aged 90 managing the book stall.

We had an amazing 75 visitors, 13 of those coping brilliantly with ticket sales, creating and running our ‘table tops’ and refreshments. And thanks to you, we raised a staggering total (once the church is paid) of £812. The sense of celebration was somehow tangible proof of the power of music and song to create a community that matters to people.
